Prayer Flags for Tibet

The base camp of most Tibetan mountain climbing expeditions is adorned with prayer flags. These colorful flag garlands represent prayers sent upward in hopes of good weather, safe climbs, and good health. We just got these small prayer flags from the Dalai Lama asking for prayers on behalf of Tibetan culture and religion, which continues to be suppressed by China.
