Hey all! I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth, I’m here and have an update!
Herding Cats
Herding Cats has had a ton of tweaking going on. I’ve been trying a variety of magnet configurations trying for just the right balance of size and strength to make “herding” the cats a fun challenge. Below is a collage of the mess of magnets, broken magnets, molds, metal bits, and more from over the past
I’m also doing some tweaking to the cats and the cat ladies. I’ve just finished a new design where the art will be on top and hopefully easier to see. Below I’m pulling out the first piece from a new mold…
Now repeat this 8 times to get these very rough acrylic tokens!

They are topped with hand made stickers and filled with air dry clay to hold magnets in place. As soon as the clay dries I'll glue the magnets in, and they be ready to play test with. I'll be at Nerdmall in Woodbury New Jersey Sunday June 21st to do just that!
Next it’s onto testing the tuna cans! If I get enough done I MIGHT even have the new prototype at our next event. Speaking of which...
Fantasy and Fun

For those who want some summer fun and fantasy I’ll have a booth at Wheaton Village’s Fantasy Faire. It is put on by my LARP group Mystic Realms. Wheaton Village is a very cool collective of glass blowers.

Yes, I LARP.
Here I am dressed as Cookie, an Orc cook who throws knives, pie, veggies, and fruit at enemies. If enough people pester me I may dress up a bit for the fair, not as Cookie though. So much body paint, so much yelling.
Come dressed in your favorite fantasy garb (optional of course) and interact with strolling characters portraying historical & mythical figures. There will be a variety of stage performances, axe throwing, merchants, pirate games, family art activities, an actual maypole, and more. It culminates in tournaments where colorful champions battle to save the Kingdom of Wheaton!
I will be selling my games, resin trinkets, and jewelry, all while singing beautiful sea shanties and talking about the games I'm working on. Yes, games plural.
So come stop by and say “Good Day Ma’am.Play iSpy for discounts from this merry merchant.
Buy tickets here or at the gate. Wheaton Village is located at 1000 Village Drive, Millville, NJ 08332.
Here is Artemis enjoying some catnip. See you next time for more catventures!
